You are not alone with Addison’s disease

A volunteer patient community that has brought together people living with Addison’s disease (primary adrenal insufficiency) and other forms of adrenal insufficiency, and their families, since 2010.

⚠️ Adrenal crisis is a life-threatening emergency

With danger signs such as extreme weakness, vomiting, dizziness, feeling extremely cold or shivering, back/abdominal pain or confusion, use your emergency injection kit immediately and call 112.

Tell the 112 team and the emergency department: “If I become unwell, tell the 112 team that I have Addison’s disease, may be having an Addisonian / adrenal crisis, and must take steroids regularly.”

How do I join our WhatsApp group?

Our single WhatsApp group is joined through controlled registration, not an open invite link. This protects your personal data and keeps the group a safe space for real patients and their families.

  1. Fill in the group application form: first name, surname, city, WhatsApp number, and when and where the diagnosis was made.
  2. Declare in writing that you are an Addison’s patient or a relative of one and wish to join our WhatsApp group (the tick boxes on the form).
  3. Press Send: your details open in WhatsApp as a ready-made message to our line (+90 555 855 05 50); send the message in that chat.
  4. Our team reviews your application and contacts you if needed.
  5. Once it is confirmed that you are an Addison’s patient (or a relative), we add you to our WhatsApp group.
